Almost everyone wants to be someone. Only a rare few dare to be no one.

One Saturday morning, a celebrated professor of philosophy vanishes without a trace—abandoning family, career, and identity to become Croatia’s first johatsu.

What begins as a private act of self‑erasure soon spirals into a whirlwind of political intrigue, clashing agencies, conspirators and libertines, the sacred and the profane. And, against all odds, in the chaos he never asked for, emerges the one thing he thought least likely: love.
